15-year-old Kara Robinson was approached by a man when she was in her best friend’s front yard, who then pushed her into his car while holding a gun to her neck. Kara would then be taken to his apartment, where she was imprisoned against her will and subjected to 18 hours of sexual assault.

“Kara escaped the restraints and his apartment while he was sleeping. Despite the fact that it was the middle of the night, Kara was able to lead the police back to the apartment and identify her captor, a serial killer responsible for at least three other unsolved homicides.”
