Daphne Bridgerton will not appear in Season 3 of Netflix’s “Bridgerton,” according to Phoebe Dynevor.

Phoebe Harriet Dynevor (born April 17, 1995) is a British actress. Dynevor is best known for her role in the Netflix period drama Bridgerton as Daphne, the fourth Bridgerton child (2020–present)

Chris Van Dusen created the American historical fiction-romance streaming television series Bridgerton for Netflix. It is Shondaland’s first scripted show for Netflix, based on Julia Quinn’s book series.

“I’m just excited to watch as a viewer,” Dynevor said on Saturday, after confirming that her character “sadly will not be in season 3.”

However, the door isn’t completely shut, as Dynevor reveals that viewers may see Daphne again “in the future.”

The saucy Shonda Rhimes-produced series, which is based on Julia Quinn’s widely popular Regency-era book series, premiered in 2020.

“I just felt very safe and comfortable knowing that it was under Shonda’s scope,” Dynevor told Harper’s Bazaar in 2021.

Dynevor appeared in the first season of “Bridgerton” alongside Regé-Jean Page, who played Simon Basset, the swoon-worthy Duke of Hastings.

While Page did not return for the second season, Dynevor appeared in a smaller role as the story centred on Daphne’s brother Anthony Bridgerton’s (Jonathan Bailey) own search for love.

Season 3 will centre on Nicola Coughlan’s performance as Penelope Featherington and her romance with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

Season 3 of “Bridgerton” has yet to receive an official premiere date.
