
The popular children’s television programme “Sesame Street” co-creator Lloyd Morrisett passed away.
He was 93.
Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind “Sesame Street,” shared the news of Morrisett’s death in a tweet Monday.A cause of death was not given.

Sesame Workshop published a picture of Morrisett standing with a Muppet along with the statement, “Sesame Workshop mourns the passing of our distinguished and beloved co-founder Lloyd N. Morrisett.” “Sesame Street is only the most visible homage to a lifetime of good work and lasting influence,” says Lloyd, “who leaves an outsized and unforgettable legacy among generations of kids around the world.”
