Spinning Out of Control, Lifetime’s new thriller film, will premiere on the channel on Friday, February 10, 2023. The story follows a young woman who falls in love with her virtual instructor and goes to great lengths to be a part of her life.
According to Lifetime, here is the official synopsis of the film:
Natalie Clark won a contest and now rides her free stationary bike every day, guided by her stunning and inspiring virtual instructor Lia Sterling. Natalie develops feelings for Lia and attempts to meet the fitness mogul in person.”
“When Lia steps away from virtual training to focus on her personal life, Natalie initiates a sinister plan to eliminate everyone in Lia’s life, so Natalie can have her as her own permanent trainer and best friend,” the synopsis continues.
Ria Ridley plays one of the lead roles, with several others playing significant supporting roles. Doug Campbell directs the film, which was written by John Jansen and Evan Lawless.

1.) Ria Ridley as Lia Sterling
In Lifetime’s Spinning Out of Control, Ria Ridley plays Lia Sterling. Natalie disrupts Ridley’s life by stalking her and going to great lengths to attract her attention. Because the story is told from Lia’s point of view, she could be considered the protagonist. Ria Ridley is best known for her roles in A Day in the Life of a Serial Killer and The Cost of Living, in addition to Spinning Out of Control.
2.Kelcie Stranahan as Natalie
Natalie is played by Kelcie Stranahan in the new thriller film. Natalie appears desperate in her desire to be a part of Lia’s life. The story revolves around her dynamic relationship with Lia. Stranahan is expected to deliver a powerful performance in this difficult role. Kelcie Stranahan has appeared in a number of films, including Dirty Teacher, Designed for Death, and The Stalker Club, to name a few.
- Sharlene Radlein as Vanessa
Vanessa is played by Sharlene Radlein in Spinning Out of Control. There aren’t many details about her character yet, but she’s expected to play a pivotal role in the film. Sharlene Radlein has previously appeared in a number of short films, including An Essential Delivery and Digital Dating.
